I'm an artist and researcher, based in Bristol in the UK. My artwork is heavily influenced by ideas of hauntology and lost futures.

I work in the digital medium of Virtual Reality and I populate my VR environments with digital images, 3D models, digital audio and video. The result is a virtual archive of things that never were.

My research explores how a similar approach can be used in coproduction with museums, archives and galleries to highlight alternative narratives and bring the past to life.

The Museum of Hauntology is a VR game for PC. Many of the Electricity Board exhibitions featured on this site are included in the museum. The museum stands as a monument to a future that never was. Featuring counterfactual digital artefacts drawn from an alternative 1970s that did not quite happen. The work is intended to prompt contemplation of the recent past and debate around the type of future in which we now find ourselves.

Please enjoy the Museum in whichever way you choose. The spaces you'll find in there are in-between places, non-places, places of meditation and dissent. Enjoy your visit.
